I graduated from the University of Iowa with a major in International Studies, minor in Asian Languages and Literature – Japanese Language, and a Certificate in International Business. I spent my last semester of college studying in Nagoya, Japan. Also, I have an Associates Degree from Scott Community College in Bettendorf, Iowa where I studied Spanish.
I have been voted by my peers on three different occasions and received The Gold Star Award. This award is in Appreciation for Outstanding Professional Cooperation when working with fellow realtors. I have received this award in 2011, 2015 & 2016.
In 2016, I received The President's Merit Award for Leadership in our local board of realtors.
In 2016, I also received a Testimonial of Appreciation for service to our MLS board and for serving 2 years on the MLS Committee in addition to serving on the board of realtors.

    Out of all the realtors I've worked with, she was the most professional, insightful, knowledgeable, honest, and trustworthy. I started my home search in several Iowa town and cities and contacted multiple realtors over a 5 month period. Eventually I narrowed my desired location to Iowa City. Laura was a great help during appointmments for viewing. She would point out the pros and cons of each so I was well equipt to make a decision. When discussing making an offer on the home I ended up purchasing, I never felt like she was in a rush to just make the sale. We discuss options and came up with a plan to help me leverage my cash offer under asking price and still ask the owner to make some important repairs. The process went more smoothly due to her work keeping all parties involved so there were no surprises or delays. Kudos to her team Evan and Chuck as well, they helped out tremendously whenever there was a short notice need. Couldn't be happier with the work Laura did to make the home purchase possible!

    Laura helped us both sell & buy a home. She has a ton of experience and knows the area really well. She is down to earth and so relatable which feels like such an important quality for real estate agents to have. She is patient too and wants the very best for her clients- even if they have a long list of "must haves." She is prompt with communication and eager to help when needed- she will even come to your rescue with boxes when moving out. Would definitely go to Laura again for home buying/selling in the Iowa City area!

    A BIG shout out to Laura for being our best sales agent!!!She made our house sale as smooth as we could possibly imagine!!!She has the professional insight of the housing market in Coralville. From pricing, showing, to accepting offer, remedial repairs, to final walk through, she was on top of every step. She guided us through along with suggestions and solutions.She always responds to our questions in a timely manner. And if we have a concern, she has the answer right away based on her years of experiences.She went above and beyond to help us get rid of our old furniture without any charges. She “babysit” our house for a whole month before closing: checking inside and out, has the lawn be taken care of, finishing the last repair work, monitoring temperature, flushing toilets, sending messages and photos to show us what’s going on. That gave us a piece of mind since we already moved to another state.Laura is awesome to work with!We’ll absolutely recommend her to anyone we know!Sean&Lucy

    Great working w Laura!! Our house sold in 2 days, we had 2 offers, and she was so helpful, since we had already moved to a different state!! Helpful in getting labor for remediation repairs, painting touch ups, and cleaning crews.

    Great experience selling our condo. Laura gave us very important suggestions for remodeling the condo and walked us through the process of pre-inspection, and helped us all along the way in making necessary repairs to the condo to get it ready for sale and ready to close. She provided recommendations for contractors, electricians and plumbers as well as helped us schedule all necessary repairs. We were able to get the condo under contract within one day with an offer above asking. It was a great experience! Highly recommend Laura and her team to all everyone out there needs a responsible and reliable agent.

    This was my third transaction with Laura and each one has been seamless. She knows how to communicate with both clients and agents, and she is able to adjust on the fly to anything that comes up. She knew what was important to me and what I was looking for and always made that the center of our process. I have bought and sold with Laura and she brings the same effort and execution to each side of the transaction, which is not something I can say for every agent. I can't recommend her highly enough for a smooth process that will help you find the perfect home for you!
