This is my first year as a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) member. The benefits are amazing! What is CSA? A CSA, is a way for consumers to directly support trusted local farms. By having a dedicated group of members, a CSA farmer can tailor the harvest to best suit the members' needs and know that he/she will have a reliable source of income. The members in turn get the fresh, mouth-watering, nutrient-rich produce and have a direct connection to where their food is grown. I love my CSA program and will definitely be a member next year as well!
