Get back to nature by visiting Hartman Reserve nestled in Cedar Falls. Created in 1976, Hartman Reserve features 340 acres of wooded glory. It features three different habits; forest, prairie, and wetland. You can enjoy deer, turkey, fox and more and in fact, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources has named it as an Iowa Watchable Wildlife site. There are awesome trails on which to run or hike and are open daily from sunrise to sunset. There are also great programs for kids young and old, such as Moonlight Hikes, canoeing or kayaking, or camps. There's something to do for everyone in your family! Hartman Reserve is a part of the Black Hawk County Conservation Board.
